The bitter agent
Denatonium benzoate. It is the most bitter compound known, used for decades to make things unpleasant to put in your mouth. Here it does one job: the taste arrives at the moment your fingers reach your lips, as a reminder to notice the movement.
What we promise

What we never say
We never claim this treats, cures or prevents onychophagia, dermatillomania or any condition. It is cosmetic care. It interrupts a movement you were not aware you were making. That is the whole claim.
Where the evidence is thin, we say so
A bitter taste is only a reminder when it reaches the mouth. It does not physically prevent biting or picking. General information about an ingredient is not proof that a finished Krelune product changes a habit, and we do not present it as a clinical product study.

Bitter Barrier Cream is for intact skin around the nails and is for adults. Nail Biting Stopper is a clear polish for the nail plate. They are different formats, not interchangeable instructions. Follow the directions and age guidance on the relevant label.
